I
am relatively new into the computer scene and even newer into the
modding scene. The first PC that I built was in August of 99.
A modest AMD K62 300mhz machine with 128mb pc133 ram and a 10.2 gb
Western Digital HDD.
That case was my first
true mod. I fried the board, processor and video card in a stupid
USB connection move. Very amateur but I learned from it. I
had to buy new components and being broke and in the military I was too
cheap to buy a new ATX case to go with the replacement board. I
modded the AT case to accept the new board and was up and running again.
My little sister has
the motherboard, processor and memory from that one. The hard
drive lives on in my daughters PC built for kindergarten learning games.
The mods have
definitely progressed from my meager beginnings and the ideas keep
flowing. I have some really sweet mods on the bench in various
states of development. I am always running four or five projects
at a time in addition to maintaining my most important jobs as a husband
and father. Stay tuned for the upcoming Hot Mods from KiSA-Labs.
